Devo Day 15: Presence over Promise

In life it can be very easy to slip into the cycle of chasing feelings over reality. We chase love because we see these movies and tv shows that bring about these perfect love stories that make us feel devoid of love.

We must not chase feelings. We need to chase His Presence. The presence of God might not always be a tangible force but it will always give you security. 

The thing is: The Presence Of God in you means that submission has come out of you.

You only submit to what or who you love. 

John 5:19- I do nothing unless I see my father do it. 

We must become a people of doing what he wants us to do. 

We must chase his presence not his promise. 

To many times we stop when we get his promise(a word, revelation, Etc) instead of storing those things up and chasing after his presence. 

The promise is a gate way to his presence. It should be the fuel that gets you there.
